On October 24th, 2009 The Arc of Clark County recognized special individuals who made personal gains in their life and the businesses that helped them become a more active member of the community. When asked about The Annual Achievement Awards Luncheon held at The Heathman Lodge Board President Kay Parks noted that “The spirit of the entire community is lifted when we stop to recognize the value of perseverance, compassion and cooperation.”
