The Resource Collection Center
This division of The Arc provides a very valuable service. Not only do the household goods and clothing collected and sold through Value Village help to fund those programs not contracted by governments or school districts, it also provides particular items such as furniture for clients who otherwise would not be able to afford them. The sale of these items accounts for about 20% of our operating budget and enables us to offer such programs as Advocacy, Guardianship, and others that receive little or no direct funding.
We are primarily interested in donations of clothing and small household goods. If you would like, you may call our pick up service to see if they are able to use your items and to schedule a time for them to pick the items up. The number is (360) 546-3158. Their hours are 8:30 am - 9:00 pm Mon. - Thurs.; 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Fri.; and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday. Or if it is more convenient, you can drop your donation off at the office; 9415 NE Fourth Plain Rd (just west of the intersection with Van Mall Drive) between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm on weekdays.
