Vocational Development Services assists and enables individuals to move forward toward their vocational goals. Individuals are supported to increase their socialization and comunication skills, learn good work ethics, build employment skills and capabilites, learn appropriate employment etiquette and attire, develop and maintain natural supports, and broaden their awareness of realistic job opportunites and goals through inclusive activities in the community. Activities include volunteering in the community, learning about and utilizing transportation for employment, and taking classes.
The Arc contracts with the Clark County Department of Community Services to provide this program. Referrals for Vocational Development Services begin with DDD Case Management.
